So, CNN has just reported that the cops accused of shooting Sean Bell and his groomsmen party in a shower of 50 bullets have all been acquitted… the case was heard in a non-jury court… need I say more?
I am going to rehash the story real quick. A small group of black men left a club and went to their car the night before one of the men was set to get married. The cops follow the men to their car and shoots the unarmed men, killing the one getting married in a few hours. He now leaves behind his fiance and two small children.
For all of you that think racism is not still out there…look around. Racism can happen within an established authority, not just from other races.
Lets see who speaks out against this…
The judge blamed the prior convictions of the witnesses…not of the victim. the judge also blamed the demeanor of the people that testified…no offense but given the circumstances I would think that emotions would run high.
I cannot form any more words on this…
