I received an angry phone call asking me to review Hancock and talk about how terrible it was. I responded “I am not going to post about a movie I haven’t seen”.
I asked this person what made it so bad and he couldn’t tell me. It may have a lot to do with that person being angry at life and general, but that is a whole other blog..
Anyway, for those living under a rock and need the trailer for the movie, here it is…
After watching this movie I decided this was a really good flick. This movie is more than about someone with super powers. This movie is a coming of age story and shows that even against low odds, you turn your life around as long as someone believes in you and can back up whatever decision you make…as long as it is from the heart.
I am sure most of the people willing to see this movie has seen it…but I am sure you haven’t seen Puffy’s reaction…

Perhaps because the majority of the country is white and the comic characters he’s talking about were invented in the 30′s, 40′s, 50′s, and 60′s.
And there were black heroes, Luke Cage (Power Man), Falcon, Storm, Black Panther, Black Lighting….How come not enough people, or perhaps black people, bought those titles to make them profitable?
And what about Asian heroes, Jewish heroes, gay heroes, Hispanic heroes…it just gets ridiculous.
Personally, I like Puff, and have a lot of respect for him and give him his props. I’m just bored of black people yelling discrimination or something is too white whenever there isn’t enough black to counter balance. They’re just as self centered as they claim white people are Euro-centric.
I’ve yet to hear a black person rally for the inclusion of a group other than themselves, yet that is exactly what they want for the white man. Fuck all that.
What’s next, they want a black guy in the white house?
I can’t wait for the day where we are all brown..lol..
You know I love Storm and started reading black panther when she married him. Sadly, the civil war happened and I lost interest.
the movie was amazing!! i loved it
