It’s been a month since I have started using the items in my Curlbox. Time for me to post my thoughts on the items.

This was by far the largest Curlbox I have ever received.

I was actually going to go out and buy these products after hearing Pantene rebooted their “Relaxed and Natural” line. I do not wash my hair with shampoo often, I do however co-wash and have been doing so for years. The first product I tried was the “co-wash”.

I did enjoy the smell of the product (I have always loved Pantene’s smell) and it made detangling my hair easier. I have three different textures in my hair (3a, 3b, 3c) so to cut down my wash time is truly appreciate, especially with a demanding newborn. What I did not like was how my hair became dry in spite of me using leave in conditioner and oil in my hair. It was not dry immediately, it took a few days but usually my hair takes to my routine without an issue. Next I tried the shampoo and deep conditioner.

The shampoo did not burn (I have seen a few people post that is does burn) and did not create a high amount of suds (which shows harsh chemicals in it).

The deep conditioner felt good and did help with making my hair manageable.
Since I am pinning my hair up a lot these days, after I washed and conditioned my hair I used my deep conditioner and coconut oil in my wet hair and sectioned it of into 4 sections. Top two I did the Bantu knots and bottom two I twisted my hair and pinned it straight up. When I took everything out this is what I ended up with

Nice wavy stretched hair ready to get pinned up.
I have yet to get to the rest of my items in my box, but that is actually really typical of me. I will post more later.
Stay natural and encourage your family to do so as well. It’s always great when everyone in a family can use the same products.
