In today’s culture the internet seems to be the go to place to vent your frustrations. Many rivalries take to the internet to try and attack the person on the other side. There are a few things you need to consider:
- You don’t know your “rival” nearly as well as you think. Many an internet beef takes an unexpected turn due to astly undrestimating the person attacked or their network.
- Your actions can and will come back to haunt you. The irony behind internet beef is many people will take the time to try and make the focus of attack feel low, however when the actions taken are exposed the joke is on the aggressor.
- The internet will have an opinion, and will not hesitate to break you. Are you less than attractive calling someone else “ugly”? Is your IQ recorded as being less than the level of a 6th grader calling someone dumb? All of your information is processed electronically and can be found. If you are living in the new age of information while trying to get a job, you will not want your information exposed so future employers can find what you have done.
So, before you go out there an attack your ex’s current; start stalking someone; or even open numerous online accounts to come at someone who blocked you….think about how it could come back to haunt you.
