Christian Bale
If you don’t know the story here it goes…
In July of 2008, actor Christian Bale had an outburst of during the shooting of the film Terminator Salvation, set to release May of this year. The director of photography Shane Hulburt stepped onto the set of the shot. I am shocked that the film director did not say anything to the director of photography (who should have known better).
Recently the film director came to the defense of Bale

“The film set is a passionate place, and it happens,” McG told fans at a Warner Bros. preview panel at New York Comic Con on Saturday, according to People.com.

“It was just one of those moments,” the director said. “I think I can speak on all of our behalf that we’ve all gotten a little fired up. And if anybody would take that moment and take it out of context, it would seem very, very strange.”

I will now go into ho the director of the movie is not doing his job…and Bale did it for him.

If you are in the industry or have been in the past, you know how important time is. You, as the director, are responsible for everything going smoothly including the budget. Sadly, film is one of the most expensive items related to the producing a movie. If they were in the middle of taping a scene (NOT rehearsing) and any behind the scenes person did something to distract or end a scene they should be fired! The director is supposed to step in a solve the issue. Obviously the director did not. People attacking Bale are not in the industry. They are assuming what they see on TV is how the film industry operates. For example, the episode of “Entourage” where the director doesn’t like Vince and tells him to do a scene over and over and they film it. That does NOT happen in the real world of film.
Ask Hype Williams about why Belly was as bad as it was..the studio took over the film due to Hype running out of money and to get an R rating for the movie.

Truth of the matter is the McG was lax in doing his job and now Christian Bale is taking the backlash. Sadly, due to his run in with his sister and mother during the release if “Batman- The Dark Knight” . There are some people happy with this media coverage…

If you haven’t heard the rant, here it is.

But really, why didn’t we care a year ago?

I agree. Good question, and good writing compared to others.

Thanks, I just hate when people attack public figures without looking at the
    real situation.
