Tamer Waves, How I Used My Custard To Tame My Hair

I have full hair..full, curly, 3a/3b/3c hair.

Although my hair looks great with the typical wash and go (as seen above), sometimes I want a different look. So, one night when I had the energy and the baby was in dreamland, I did the following:

  1. Co-washed my hair with cholesterol
  2. Let it sit for 2 hours in my hair under a plastic cap
  3. Rinsed out my hair
  4. Combed it out while wet using the comb from my Curlbox in the picture below

After my hair was detangled and seperated in 4 sections, I took sections of my still wet hair and did two strands twists combining “African Pride Shea Butter Miracle Bouncy Curls Pudding” and Beautiful Textures Curl Defining Custard (in the pic below). I stretched out the twists and used hair pins to pin them to my scalp. I left the strands in for three days, however on the second day I sprayed “Natures Shine” oil on my hair as well as “Dr Miracles Curl Care Blowout Foam” (also pictured below)

This was the end result

I teased my hair a lot more after this pic and I am on day two of this style. I love how calm this style is and will probably do this to my hair for awhile.
